The Voice UK kicked off series three on Saturday night and six budding performers made it through the blind auditions.
As in the past two years, hopefuls sung to the backs of the coaches who had to decide on vocals alone whether they wanted to hear more and get a singer on their team.
New coaches Kylie Minogue and Ricky Wilson came out of the opening show leading the pack, with two acts each on their teams of twelve.
First up in Team Kylie is insurance salesman Lee Glasson, who won over the Aussie with a unique spin of her own tracks, and Leo Ihenacho, who seduced Kylie with his Simply Red cover.
Beth McCarthy’s take on Sexy And I Know It won her a spot on Team Ricky together with Christina Marie, who belted out a Whitney Houston classic to get the Kaiser Chiefs star turning around.
Over on Team Will and the Black Eyed Peas star won harpist Anna McLuckie for his line up after a tense fight between himself and Ricky over the Scottish singer.
And finally, Team Tom begins to take shape with Sally Barker, who has a wealth of experience to her name including touring with the likes of Bob Dylan and Robert Plant.
The Voice UK blind auditions continue next Saturday night on BBC One from 7PM.
