Love Island 2017: Smitten Camilla

Love Island 2017 hit yet another series high in the ratings of over 2 million viewers last night.

The show has continued to pull in big numbers and Sunday's latest episode saw the most yet tuning in to ITV2 for all the drama from the villa with an average of 2.1 million viewers.

It's the first time Love Island has broken the 2 million barrier overnight with the episode up 500,000 viewers on last Sunday and almost a million above the launch episode from the start of June.

Spin off show Love Island Aftersun had 900,000 viewers straight after, beating Big Brother's numbers over on Channel 5.

Big Brother 2017's Sunday night highlights had 800,000 viewers, down 100,000 week-on-week. The latest series of the Channel 5 show has been averaging fewer than a million viewers overnight for two weeks now.

Elsewhere last night, in the 9PM slot it was BBC One who won with Poldark's third series enjoying 4.8 million, up 200,000 viewers week-on-week.

On ITV, new drama The Loch continued to fall with 3.2 million for episode four - down 600,000 on last weekend and 1.8 million on its launch last month. The latest episode was preceded on ITV by the Confederations Cup Final which had 2.4 million viewers.

Elsewhere, the most watched show of the night was Antiques Roadshow which had 5.8 million viewers on BBC One to Countryfile's 5.3 million.
