The new series of Celebrity Big Brother UK starts tonight, but who will be going in the house and what’s planned for the stars? Here’s our guide to this month’s launch!
What time does Celebrity Big Brother 2014 start?
Celebrity Big Brother starts on Friday, January 3 at 9PM on Channel 5. Emma Willis will host a two hour long live launch show, before Ryan Clark fronts spin-off Bit On The Side straight after from 11PM.
Who are this year’s Celebrity Big Brother celebrities?
The current rumoured Celebrity Big Brother line up includes Apprentice star Luisa Zissman, Blue’s Lee Ryan, Made In Chelseas Ollie Locke and journalist Liz Jones.
More names set to the new series are said to be former Strictly star Nancy Dell’Olio, N-Dubz singer Dappy, comedian Jim Davidson, TOIWE’s Sam Faiers and more recently, boxer Evander Holyfield and Neighbours actor Alan Fletcher.
Who is presenting it all this time around?
Emma Willis remains the host of the main show, having taken over from Brian Dowling in the summer, but it’s all change again on the spin-off Bit On The Side.
AJ Odudu has been axed, leaving Rylan Clark to present the Channel 5 show when Emma Willis is off..
Meanwhile, Carol McGiffin will join the Celebrity Big Brother team as head panelist on Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit On The Psych. Bit On The Psych will air on Saturday nights after the main show and will be co presented by Rylan Clark and Iain Lee.
Any twists planned?
Big Brother always has something up his sleeve and this year is no different, with Channel 5 teased earlier this year: “As usual the show will be packed full of twists and turns, starting from the get-go, when on launch night Big Brother will be unleashing his biggest twist yet… ”
Rumour as it, tonight’s Celebrity Big Brother twist will see the housemates start the show handcuffed together in pairs, with Emma revealing all in the live launch show.
