Eamonn Holmes has been banned from Celebrity Big Brother.
The daytime TV host has been asked to join the line up a number of times by show bosses.
But Eamonn has revealed that wife and regular co-host Ruth Langsford has put her foot down.
This Morning presenter Eamonn told BANG! Showbiz this week: “I know they do ask me in fairness but Ruth doesn’t allow it. She is like, ‘I don’t want people to see you with your hair standing on end, walking around the house in your underwear.’ She is very protective.”
"I have keep getting asked to do Celebrity Big Brother," Eamonn previously revealed, " And I say to Ruth, 'I don't think we can ignore this now.'
"She is like, 'That is not happening. I am not having people see what you're really like. You and your underwear.'
"It boils down to my underwear why I am not allowed to go on."
While we can rule Eamonn out, a number of other celebs could be heading into the CBB house this summer.
Rumoured celebrity housemates include TOWIE's Bobby Norris, Union J singer Jaymi Hensley and Ex On The Beach’s Chanelle McCleary.
Also linked to the show at the time being include more Ex On The Beach stars, with Jemma Lucy as well as couple Helen Briggs and Chet Johnson all tipped to take part.
Plus there's Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model contestant Danielle Sandhu, celebrity tattooist Kevin Paul and Real Housewives of Cheshire star Ester Dee.
The new series will launch in the summer on Channel 5.
