It was pianist Tokio Myers who won Britain’s Got Talent 2017 back in June, winning a spot on the Royal Variety Show later this year and £250,000 in cash.

He beat magician Issy Simpson and comic Daliso Chaponda in the final, and has since been signed by Simon Cowell’s Syco record label.

The Sun newspaper reports that the musician will put out his own album called Our Generation on November 17.

And talking to the paper, Tokio revealed hopes of working on future music with Stormzy.

“I met him when we did the Grenfell song and he was a big fan of what I was doing. We talked about me possibly producing an album. I don’t know what’s going to happen but Stormzy is a f***ing legend,” he told the tabloid.

Earlier this year, Tokio also revealed his plans for the BGT prize money.

Tokio said he hoped to put at least some of the money towards a house.

But he also wants to help others, and plans to set up his own music school for those with disadvantaged backgrounds.

Tokio explained: “I would love to be able to set up my own music school one day to mentor and inspire other people.

“If I get a real shot at being successful I would love to do talks at school.”

Britain’s Got Talent will return to ITV for series 12 in 2018.
