Britain's Got Talent 2013 judge David Walliams has said he's hoping to find a comic on this year's show.
The Little Britain star thinks that it's about time either a stand-up or impressionist won the ITV series.
Over the past six years, four of all of the winners have either been singing all dancing act's, and while they remain popular this year, it will take a lot for them to impress the panel.
David said: "We’ve had some really good impressionists. I would love to see a type of act that has never won before, win.
"We’ve had singers, dancers and a dancing dog but it would be great to see a comedian or an impressionist win. I think the impressionists this year were a really high standard, so I’ve got high hopes.
Alesha agreed with David, even admitting she too would like to see a funny act beat the dancers this spring.
She said: "It’s not my job to be biased and I don’t particularly have a preference. Even though singing and dancing is my passion, I absolutely love the comedians and the impressionists and the ventriloquist acts.
"I think it’s really important to stay impartial, wait to the live shows, and see who just blows us away!"
Britain's Got Talent 2013 starts on Saturday night on ITV.
