Britain’s Got Talent 2013 favourite Alice Fredenham was rejected by The Voice UK, it’s been revealed.
28-year-old singer Alice will be seen performing for the BGT judges in Manchester in tonight’s opening audition show.
The performer blows away the panel of Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden with her take on My Funny Valentine.
Simon gushes: “This is what I have been waiting for. Your voice is liquid gold. You could sing the phone book.
“I want to remember the day I met Alice Fredenham because I think you’re so special.”
However a supposed BBC source hit back at the claims.
They bitched: “The Voice prides itself on its high standards, and yet again BGT is taking the show’s rejects.”
And The Voice 2013 coach Danny O’Donoghue admitted he wasn’t surprised to see The Voice rejects on other talent shows.
The Script front man said: “We turn away such good singers on the show, we say no to people who would have won any other talent show.”
