Britain's Got Talent 2014 auditions: Open audition dates and venues

Britain's Got Talent 2013 judges

The Britain's Got Talent 2014 open audition dates have been revealed.

The UK series is returning for a eighth year and will once again be travelling the UK on the hunt for talent to put before the judges.

Britain's Got Talent 2013 earlier this year saw shadow dancers Attraction crowned winners at the glittering final in June.

Watched by over 10 million viewers, the final was one of the live entertainment moments of the year with acts like Attraction, Welsh duo Richard and Adam and teen comic Jack Carrol making it one of the best and most talked about series of Britain's Got Talent ever.

The BGT team will be heading off to London, Birmingham, Belfast, Cardiff, Manchester and Edinburgh for this year's audition.

Anything goes from dance troupes to acrobats, magicians to comedians and dancing dogs to mind-blowing contortionists. The show is open to any performer of any age, from any background, with any talent - all they need is a skill and star quality which they think will impress the Judges.

Alesha Dixon, David Walliams, Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden will be back on the panel for a third series, and this time around Simon wants something HUGE.

“This year I want even bigger and better than before," he said. "We want the sensational, the original and of course the best. I want something that I’ve never seen before.”

have applied and I have been waiting for about 2 months, I am really
looking forward to auditioning, I don't know how long it should be until
I get the audition email. (Please can you tell me how long it should take, thanks.) :)

  • Elearis Yung

I applied at the and of august and got an email by the beginning of September. I am not sure but I don't think they pick every application. If you put a boring description of your act then less chances they'll pick you/send you an email.
