The new series of Britain’s Got Talent is due to kick off earlier than ever, with a rumoured start date in late March!
The show, which usually airs from mid-April, has undoubtedly been brought forward to compete with new BBC One series The Voice, also due to start in March.
While there has not yet been any official confirmation on the start date, hosts Ant and Dec let slip on Twitter that they were under the impression Britain’s Got Talent will start in "late March/early April".
This was backed up by More Talent host Stephen Mulhern on last night's live stream, who told viewers that March would see the series back on air.
If true, it will mean that both Britain's Got Talent and The Voice will go head to head from the off on Saturday nights.
BGT boss Simon Cowell previously declared "war" on the new BBC reality show, saying: "They have gone head to head with us. If they want a competition we’ll make it a competition."
