I'm A Celebrity 2012 star Helen Flanagan reportedly broke down after leaving the jungle.
Helen seemed upbeat on spin off show Get Me Out Of Here Now on ITV2 last night, but apparently the singer had a tough 24 hours out of camp.
Helen was a shock exit on Monday night, leaving ahead of favourite to go Eric Bristow.
Speaking after her exit, Helen had told hosts Ant and Dec “I thought I was strong-minded.
"I didn’t think it would be as tough as this. It’s crazy in there.”
The Corrie beauty was given the all clear by the show's doctor and psychologist, but refused to leave her hotel room after being axed.
After cancelling all of her interviews on shows like Daybreak and This Morning, Helen tweeted: “Thankyou so much for anyone that supported me in the jungle...Ive felt so emotional today and completely overwhelmed and mixed emotions.”
A show insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper today: “Helen caused a nightmare by pulling out of her interviews.
"Producers were expecting to shoot three live links to the morning shows but were told Helen was too ‘emotional’ to leave her suite.”
Meanwhile another source told The Sun newspaper: "Helen is exhausted. She was distraught about leaving the jungle and cried her eyes out once the cameras stopped rolling.
“The emotions are taking their toll. Yesterday she started to feel really ill and a doctor was called to her room to treat her."
They went on: "She is now resting, but it doesn’t help that she now thinks she has been nationally humiliated. She feels hated by the public.
“Her parents, Paul and Julia, are trying to console her, but there isn’t much they can say to help. She is bitterly disappointed to have been kicked off.”
Helen's former campmate Limahl previously revealed: “Helen was in turmoil. She seemed incredibly unfocused and not together.”
A spokesperson for ITV commented: “It is up to contestants what they do once they leave the jungle.
"Helen chose to relax with her friends and family.”
