Dec won't host I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here without Ant, it's been reported.
News broke last month that that TV favourite Ant McPartlin had checked himself into a rehab facility for 'drink and drugs problems'.
The Daily Mail reported shortly after that bosses at ITV had offered Ant a year off work to help his recovery.
A spokesperson for ITV said: "We are sending Ant our very best wishes for a speedy recovery and, of course, he has our full support."
Although it's a long way off, plans were supposedly being put in place for I'm A Celebrity should Ant choose not to host the next series alongside Dec.
However the Daily Mirror now reports that Dec "wouldn't work on screen" without Ant.
The source said: “Ant and Dec are a team with a huge emotional bond, they are like brothers and and Dec will only be hosting I’m A Celebrity with Ant by his side.
“They’ve got months yet to sort things out and the hope is that Ant will bounce back with another hit series of I’m A Celebrity and they will move on from this chapter in their career.”
A TV source added that it was currently "business as normal" behind the scenes of I'm A Celeb.
"The boys have hosted every series of I’m A Celebrity and everyone expects to see them back in five months time," the insider said.
Speaking in June, Ant told how depression led to addictions to prescription drugs and substance and alcohol abuse.
"The first step is to admit to yourself you need help," he said. “I’ve let people down. I’m truly sorry."
Ant, who hosts I'm A Celebrity and Britain's Got Talent, told The Sun newspaper: “I feel like I have let a lot of people down and for that I’m truly sorry.
“I want to thank my wife, family and closest friends through this really difficult time.
He added to The Sun: "I have spoken out because I think it is important that people ask for help if they are going through a rough time and get the proper treatment to help their recovery."
