Love Island's Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey to join TOWIE full time?

Nathan and Cara

Love Island couple Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey have spoke about joining the TOWIE cast full time.

The winners of ITV2's Love Island in the summer have popped up on the ITVBe reality series a few times now, but could they become a permanent fixture in 2017?

"We’d consider it, we are strong enough," Nathan said this week. "But we know as much as you do! We'll have to wait and see."

Cara added: “We have a lot of support from Tommy [Mallet] and Georgia [Kousoulou] as well.

“We are really close to them.”

Speaking to new! magazine, the couple went on to speak about life together outside of the Love Island villa.

"There’s been arguments. I’m not the easiest person to live with," said Nathan, who shared the £50,000 prize with Cara. “But you forget we’ve only known each other for 6 months.”

Cara admitted: "It was hard when we first came out.

"We went in as single people and nobody knew who we were, and we came out and we're living and working together."

She added: "You've got to get used to each other. I think all the couples have gone through struggles. If they say they haven't, they're lying!"

But marriage isn't on the cards just yet.

Nathan declared: "I'm not going to marry someone I've known for six months. I'll give it a couple of years."

TOWIE will be back on ITVBe in 2017 while Love Island returns to ITV2 next summer.
