Love Island's Camilla Thurlow wants to go on The Island with Bear Grylls

Love Island: Camilla

Love Island's Camilla Thurlow has revealed she'd love to join The Island with Bear Grylls.

The finalist of this year's ITV2 series ruled out any more reality TV other than one specific show.

Speaking after last week's final, Camilla confessed she'd love to put her survival skills to the test.

Camilla admitted: "I would love to go on The Island with Bear Grylls."

Jamie Jewitt agreed: "That would be great!"

The pair, who made the final of Love Island 2017, are also eyeing up their very own show.

They say they want to film a Ross Kemp-style documentary following Camilla's work in war zones.

Camilla works as a humanitarian ordinance disposal expert, working to clear mine fields.

"Nothing's set in stone," Camilla said, "I'd like to use the platform I have now to shed a bit of light on causes that are very important to me.

"I've spoken to Cam as I've always wanted to do the kind of work she does, so going on those kinds of trips would be amazing. My hope is to make Ross Kemp-style documentaries."

Meanwhile, the duo admitted they were still not yet an official couple following the Love Island final.

"It's just being ourselves, having a real relationship and seeing where it goes," Camilla said. "The environment in there is intense and things can progress quickly, but we're three weeks in and enjoying it.

"If we live n the moment and enjoy it, it'll give us a much better chance for the future. The best is yet to come."

Love Island airs on ITV2 with a fourth series already commissioned for next summer.
