Fitness guru Joe Wicks has revealed he's turned down Strictly Come Dancing.

Joe, also known as 'The Body Coach', claims BBC bosses had offered him a place in the show's next series.

He is a social media sensation, with 1.7 million followers on Instagram and almost 2.4 million likes on Facebook. Last year he also hosted his own self-titled TV series for Channel 4.

But a spot in Strictly isn't on the cards - at least for now.

Quizzed on the rumours in a chat on Loose Women, Joe said: "How do you know about that? Who told you I was asked about that? I mean, I was asked [but] it's not something I want to do right now."

However that's not to say Joe may not end up on the dancefloor sometime in the future.

"Who knows in the future?" he added.

Strictly Come Dancing will be back on BBC One later this year.

While we can rule Joe out, there have been plenty more rumoured names,

Celebs linked to this year's Strictly cast at the time being include Dame Joan Collins, Good Morning Britain presenter Charlotte Hawkins, Gogglebox stars Steph and Dom Parker, Olympic gymnast Max Whitlock, footballer Frank Lampard and Olympian Jessica Ennis-Hill.

There's also Paralympian Ellie Simmonds, Robot Wars host Angela Scanlon, comic Joel Dommett and marathon runner Paula Radcliffe.

However no names are officially confirmed yet and won't be until the autumn.
