The Voice UK 2013 will start on BBC One on March 30 at 7PM it’s been confirmed.
The superstar coaches return to BBC One for the brand new series of The Voice UK at the end of the month, and bosses say the series promises more drama, more chair turns and more amazing vocal performances as would-be Artists battle it out to be crowned winner of The Voice UK.
The second series will premiere alongside the return of Doctor Who on the Easter weekend, running for 13 weeks.
The launch episode airs from 7PM to 8:35PM on Saturday, March 30, going head to head with Ant Dec.
Jessie J, Will.i.am, Danny O’Donoghue and Sir Tom Jones are all back on the panel of rival coaches.
They’ll be joined by hosts Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates on the music series once more, which features budding performers taking part in blind auditions.
Hopefuls come onto the stage in silence, performing while the coaches sit with their backs turned. If a coach likes what they hear, then they can press their buzzer to signal they want that singer on their team.
And in a twist, if more than one coach wants a singer, it’s up to the auditionee to decide, so expect plenty of dirty tricks from the panel to win their support!
This year will also see a few changes to the format, including knock out stages and yet more drama in the battle rounds, with the ability for one coach to steal another’s singers.
