The Voice 2013 continued on Saturday night as the fifth batch of budding artists went before the coaches.
Another crop of potential finalists sung their hearts out for Jessie J, Will.I.am, Danny O’Donoghue and Sir Tom Jones in a bid to join one of their ever growing teams.
There was everything former MOBO nominees to ex-soap stars singing out their hearts for the panel, but the picky coaches only turned for the best.
We’ve picked our favourite three performers who stood out to us below, be sure to agree or disagree and add your own top picks from the blind auditions so far in the comment section!
Already known to us and we are sure quite a few other viewers, Nate James was one of our favourites before his audition even aired. Putting aside arguments over whether or not such “established” stars should be on the show, we can’t wait to see what’s if he will make that To the live shows.
It was little shocked to us to see Ricardo Alfonso wowing the judges, with the west end start having already acquired quite a name for himself on the stage. We loved his rendition of Hard to handle and can’t wait to see his vocal performance in the up coming battle rounds.
We quite like Jamie parodists when he was back on the X Factor, giving the over 25 category some much needed credibility after year after year of novelty acts such as Wagner. The singing bodyguard proved again on The Voice that he has the vocals so let’s hope the BBC one series will not listen treats him with the same way as its ITV rival.
