With The Voice UK 2014 coaches now confirmed, we want to know what you think of the new line up.
We’ve always been big fans of the show and it’s good to see the BBC are doing their best to try and get ratings up, but are the changes enough?
Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am and Welsh crooner Sir Tom Jones are both back for the third series, alongside two new superstar coaches.
The pair will be joined by pop princess Kylie Minogue, who the BBC had originally tried to get on the first series.
And the Aussie performer will be a newbie on the series together with Kaiser Chiefs rocker Ricky Wilson.
Speaking about his appointment to the panel today, Ricky commented: “Who doesn’t want to spend their Saturday night with Kylie Minogue?
“I spent last winter yelling at The Voice, and both Sir Tom Jones and will.i.am were total superstars. I’m just lucky the Kaiser Chiefs have rubber stamped my temporary loan!”
The BBC has played it safe, arguably predictably so, with the new coaches, with almost same-for-same replacements for the departing Jessie J and Danny O’Donoghue, so will it change anything?
It’s not only the coaches who have changed too, with the Beeb taking more risks with the new presenting line up.
Former X Factor runner up and JLS star Marvin Humes will replace Reggie Yates as his first ever prime time hosting gig, supported by the more experienced Emma Willis.
It’s an interesting duo and we’re looking forward to see how the pair work together come the series premiere in the New Year.
What do you make of the new coaches? Will they help boost ratings or will you be turning off? Add your comments below or tweet us @tellymix!
