The BBC confirmed last week that the Aussie star was joining the series, replacing Jessie J.
Kylie said: “I love the concept of the show and have been an avid viewer of both series. The search for new talent is such an important aspect of the music industry and The Voice gives us all a part to play in that.
“Will I be competitive? Probably more than even I imagine! Watch this space!”
But in bad news for Kylie, her massive £500,000 fee – the same as fellow coach Will.i.am – is half of what she was originally offered for the first series in 2011.
And it’s a fifth of the £2.5 million figure that the popstar had been holding out for.
Still, it’s far from anything we’d say no to!
Kylie will be joined by Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson on the new look panel, as the rocker takes over from the outgoing Danny O’Donoghue in a rather safe choice.
The pair will sit in the famous spinning red chairs alongside Will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones, who are both back for a third series.
The Voice UK returns to BBC One in January.
