X Factor 2012 hopeful Ella Henderson has revealed she wants Tulisa to be her mentor.
The 16-year-old wowed all four of the judges on Saturday night's opening show, performing original song 'Missed' for the panel.
The schoolgirl sailed through to bootcamp and is already hoping to make it all the way to the live shows in the autumn.
Ella is already the favourite to win the show after the first audition show, and a hot tip to make the final 12.
Asked who she'd want to mentor her in the later stages of the show, Ella, from Lincolnshire, said: “After my audition, the warm presence I got off Tulisa, that swerved me that way.”
If Ella gets her wish then she's going to have to make sure to put the work in.
Fellow X Factor judge Tulisa this morning said she’d be taking a tough approach to her acts.
N-Dubz star Tulisa, who was performing at V Festival yesterday, warned this week: “Everyone knows that with my acts I will crack the whip."
However she continued: But I also make space for play-time. Last year I took my acts out clubbing.
“It’s not meant to be a gruelling military operation. You are meant to be fulfilling your dreams and you have to enjoy that.”
