The Voice UK's Danny O'Donoghue has said he'd be happy to perform on The X Factor live shows this year.
Despite spending much of the beginning of the year slagging the series off, he admitted he'd jump at the chance to promote his band's new album on the ITV1 show.
Speaking to DigitalSpy, Danny said: "If I was invited onto the show to sing, it's a music show at the end of the day."
However Danny insisted he'd never want to be a judge on the rival reality show, adding: "Would I be judging on the show? Probably not. But would I go on the show to promote a song? I'd be foolish not to. There's millions of people watching - same as with any show.
"And by the way, this is for every band out there, if you get to go in a show, go on the show. Don't be too cool for school because it doesn't matter. Millions of people watch all of these shows and it's a really good platform."
He added: "You can't be picky. You get up and play where you have to play to get your music out, it's a different industry now."
Danny also revealed he was still in contact with his acts from the show.
"I've been working with Max and Bo, we wrote a song with both of those and hopefully it should be out soon," he said."
The Script's new album #3 is out this week, and currently on course to top the charts this Sunday.
