X Factor 2012 spoilers: Week 8 Abba / Motown song list choices and teasers!

X Factor 2012 judges

The X Factor 2012 live shows continue on ITV1 this Saturday night, but who will be singing what?

This weekend will be the first time that the remaining acts take on two tracks each, with all five of the finalists singing tracks by Abba and Motown themed song.

The public will get the chance to vote once again this weekend, with the two acts with the fewest votes being put head to head in a sing off on Sunday night’s results show.

As we saw last weekend, anything can happen when it comes down to the eliminations, so it’s all to play for this Saturday and Sunday night.

But what are this week’s X Factor song choices?

Here’s the latest teasers, rumours and gossip from backstage!

This week’s Abba / Motown X Factor song choices

James Arthur – SOS by Abba / Let’s Get It On by Marvin Gaye
Jahmene Douglas – I Have A Dream by Abba / The Tracks Of My Tears Live by Smokey Robinson
Rylan Clark – Mamma Mia by Abba / Medley of The Supremes hits

Christopher Maloney – Fernando by Abba / Dancing On The Ceiling by Lionel Richie

Union J – The Winner Takes It All by Abba / I’ll Be There by the Jackson 5

The boys teased: “It’s different for us to do something like this as we’ve always done very current songs on the show. So it’s a bit of a challenge to try and make it current, but we don’t want to change the song because they’re such iconic songs.”

Sunday’s results show will see one more act get the axe, and there will be performances from Rhianna and Bruno Mars.
