The X Factor 2013 auditions kicked off tonight on ITV as a revamped format got its first airing in front of millions.
First up was J Star Valentine, a 19 year old student and part time model from West London. However his performance of Hallelujah by Alexandra Burke was branded rubbish by the judges, although Louis seemed to like the "different" cover.
Duo Silver Rock – Tamera Foster 16 year old student, and Jerrie Bafundila, a 22 year old beauty sales assistant both from London - but the judges decided to split them up after their performance of End of Time – Beyonce. The pair both got yeses as soloists through to the next round tomorrow.

Fil Henley - a 30 year old guitar teacher still lives at home with his parents in Berkshire - performed Let Me Entertain You by Robbie Williams. It was originally a no, but Nicole persuaded the other judges to put him through, so long as he made himself a bit more rockier!
17 year old student from Brighton Alejandro Fernandez-Holt sun Perfect by Pink for the panel and got through, although Gary gave him a no.
Five piece girl group Euphoria Girls described themselves as a 'PG Pussycat Dolls', and although Gary didn't think their vocals didn't match up to their dance routines, they got three yeses to make the arena auditions.
47 year old fitness instructor from Wales Jan Muir got Nicole up and interested, but Sharon wasn't so eager.
Singer-songwriter Luke Britnell won over the panel with his original song Think Positive, getting four big yeses through to the arena auditions.
