The X Factor 2013 is back, but just who is through to the bootcamp stages?
This weekend saw the X Factor’s launch with the first double audition format.
Hopefuls have to first impress the panel in the judges’ rooms before moving on to singing again in front of thousands at Wembley Arena.
Only getting three yeses at both stages will get the singer into this year’s bootcamp stages.
Here’s a run down of who has made bootcamp so far below…
Sam Bailey: 36 year old Prison Officer from Leicestershire. Sam blew judges away in her first audition and got standing ovation. She performed Who’s Loving You – The Jacksons at Wembley and Listen – Beyonce at her first audition.
Hannah Barrett: The judges loved her voice but Hannah was told to work on her performance for her arena audition. 17 year old from South London. She performed One Night Only – Jennifer Hudson at Wembley and Read All About It – Emeli Sande at her original audition.
Alejandro Fernandez-Holt: In his first audition Gary felt that Alejandra was too ‘theatre school’ but Nicole thought the girls would love him. 17 year old student from Brighton. He performed Enrique Iglesias – Hero at Wembley after singing Perfect – Pink during his first audition.
Tamera Foster: Having originally auditioned in the judge room as part of duo ‘Silver Rock’, the judges felt there was no chemistry and put them through as soloists. Tamera is 16 a year old school girl from Gravesend in Kent and performed I Have Nothing by Whitney Houston at Wembley
Shelley Smith: 34 year old single mum and white van driver from Devon. Got four yeses from the judges in her first audition but was told to drop the cliché ‘Mariah’ moves. Michael Buble – Feeling Good.
Jade Richards: 23 year old unemployed from Fife, Scotland. In her first audition Louis thought Jade had got ‘her mojo back’ since she auditioned two years ago. Amy Winehouse – Back to Black.
Melanie McCabe: 19 years old from Dublin, her fourth year auditioning for The X Factor; in 2011 she was unsuccessful at judges’ houses and only got to bootcamp last year. In her first audition Gary told her it was the ‘best audition of the day’. David Guetta – Titanium.
Barclay Beales: 17 years old, currently unemployed from Devon. Barclay blew away the judges in his first audition with his unique yodelling. One Direction – What Makes You Beautiful.
Luke Friend: 17 year old student from Devon. Nicole said she got lost in his music in his first audition. Queen – Too Much Love Will Kill You.
Tom Mann: 19 year old part-time football coach from Southampton. Nicole was unsure if he would stand out at the arena after his first audition. Little Mix – How Ya Doing.
Relley Clarke: 23 year old housekeeper from Birmingham. Relley got four yeses after her first audition. Chase and Status – Blind Faith.
Abi Alton: 19 year old Morrison’s sales assistant from Guisborough – near Middlesbrough. The judges loved her after her first audition but worried that her voice wouldn’t be able to reach 4000 people in an arena. Original Song – Jigsaw.
Souli Roots: 34 year old call handler for the NHS from South London but originally from Jamaica. Gary was unsure after her first audition, but the other judges said she made them feel good and gave her a second chance. She sung Three Little Birds – Bob Marley at Wembley
Lydia Lucy: 19 year old dance student from Romford, Essex. Was told she might be better suited to a girl band after her first audition. She sung The Way You Make Me Feel – Michael Jackson at Wembley.
Jeanette Akua: 21 beauty consultant originally from South Africa, now living in Romford Essex. She sung Skinny Love – Birdy at Wembley
Rough Copy- Sterling 28, Kaz 24 and Joe 26 are from London. They sung Little Things – One Direction.
Stephanie Woods: 20 year old holiday entertainer from Skelmersdale, Lancashire. Steph previously entered the X Factor and got to Sharon’s judges house when she was 14. Sharon was touched by her performance in her first audition. She sung I Drove All Night – Celine Dion/ Songbird – Eva Cassidy.
Kingsland : Josh, Matt, Connor, Thompson and Jay [19-24] all from east London. They were told they had big potential but needed to work on being a group after their first audition. [Treasure- Bruno Mars]
Next of Kin: Nathan 32, Kieran 27 and Mark 29 are three brothers from Colchester. They all work together in a factory, packing boxes. They reduced Nicole to tears in their first audition with their original song. Amazed – Lonestar
Nicholas McDonald: –16 year old student from Motherwell, Scotland. Gary thought he may need another year before he would be ready for the competition. [1000 Years – Christina Perry]
Ryan Mathie: 18 year old from Hull is currently training to be a mechanic and working for the council. Louis wanted to see if Ryan could connect with an audience at the arena auditions.
Tenors of Rock: Jonathan Williams-35, Hugh Maynard-38, Dai Richards-26, Gareth Richards-30, Jaymz Denning-35, Gareth Chart-31. Sharon didn’t ‘get it’ in their first audition but Nicole was impressed by how they ‘sung their balls off’.
Hannah Sheares: 17 year old shop assistant from Birmingham. Originally auditioned as part of girl band ‘Daisy Chains’ with two of her best friends. The judges gave a no to the group but offered Hannah a place in the competition as a soloist.
Code 4: Mark 24, Jordan 17, Ryan 21 and Jermaine 25.
Xyra: Laura, Amy, Nadina, Beth and Sasha aged between 17-23 work in promotions and live around London.
Brick City: Yasmin 23, James 24, Duane 28 and Anton 27 from London.
Dynamix: SeeSee 22 from London, Kyle 21 from Reading and Luke 24 from Wolverhampton.
Sam Callahan: 19 year old bar man from Essex. Sam failed to impress Gary at his first audition but Nicole thought the girls would love him.
Zoe Devlin: 28 year old waitress and single mum from London.
Joseph Whelan: Joseph entered the competition last year and was devastated after he missed out on a place at Judges Houses. The judges told Joseph they were glad he had returned this year after his first audition.
Crissie Rhodes: 25 year old wedding singer from Bedfordshire. She blew the judges away with her country voice at her first audition.
Giles Potter: 16 year old student from Worcester. The judges loved Giles’ performance at the room auditions, with Gary even joining in.
Paul Akister: 24 year old pub and club singer from Manchester. The judges liked his voice but he was told he needed to work on his performance in the arena.
