The X Factor 2013 finalists have been given a booze ban by bosses, no doubt in a bid to stop the drunken antics of recent years.
The first of this year’s live show stars have been chosen this week after Louis Walsh selected his final three in France, but there were no luxury celebrations.
Booze was banned in place of water and cola, and the only food on offer were sweets and crisps.
The Sun reports that a show producer told the trio: “You’re not having a beer — you’re at work.”
But while the catering may have not been up to much, the £16,000-a-week rented Villa with eight rooms and private pool more than made up for it.
Louis filmed his judges’ houses segment in St Tropez with the help of Sinitta, Shane Filan and Nicole Appleton.
Filming had to be stop due to noise from a nearby villa owned by former French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
A source told the tabloid today: “The team were filming by the pool but every time they tried to shoot they were interrupted by the noise from the garden strimmers next door.
“Staff were asked politely if they could hold off the work until filming finished the next day. They agreed.”
The X Factor continues this Saturday and Sunday on ITV.
