X Factor winner James Arthur has confessed he's never read his own book.
And by the sounds of it, he's got no plans to do so either.
'James Arthur: My Story' was released after James won The X Factor back in 2012.
Despite appearing at signings to plug the book, James has admitted he's never actually read it himself.
He told The Sun newspaper: "I haven’t even read that.
"I wouldn’t want it in my Christmas stocking."
James made the confession after revealing plans to release a new book, and this one he's written himself.
"I don’t want it to be one of those autobiographies, I want it to act as a self-help book," he explained.
James, who made an epic comeback last year with a number one album and single, continued: "I want to talk to people about how I felt a little bit different from a young age and felt a little bit weird and a little bit like an outcast, and the journey that I’ve been on to get to this place."
Speaking to the Press Association, James added: "I want to help people to get to know my story, and really tell them in detail what I’ve been through.
"The album says a little bit about it but it doesn’t really tell the full extent."
