Nicole Scherzinger 'stormed out' of The X Factor filming last week, it's been claimed.
The judge was reportedly left upset after the six chair challenge.
And Simon Cowell has teased that it could be because she's not too happy with her category this year - The Overs.
"She made quite a point of showing that she wasn't happy," Simon told The Sun. "Slightly over-dramatic by putting the jacket over her head, but she made her point.
"When you're stuck with a category you don't believe in, it's misery."
The brutal stage of the competition is once again back this year and has already proved controversial as ever before even airing on TV.
In the Six Chair Challenge, the remaining acts in each category will perform one by one in front of the judges and a live audience at Wembley Arena.
But in a new twist for this year, the category's mentor will sit separately from the other judges.
The remaining three judges will sit together and offer up their comments and critiques of the performance, before passing over to the category's mentor to pick who goes through.
When it came to Nicole's turn in the hot seat, things got rather tense, The Sun reported previously.
"Nicole left the set upset as the situation was so intense and it all got too much for her," a source claimed. “It was a long and stressful day and it wasn’t helped by the fact the crowd were not on Nicole’s side for some of her choices."
The insider explained: “Before filming had commenced, the audience were encouraged by the show’s production staff to be vocal about what they thought of her choices.
“They took this on board and were very loud, but unfortunately for Nicole at times it did mean a deafening shower of boos and jeers.”
Those who make it through the six chair challenge will make it to judges' houses.
The X Factor will air on ITV in the summer. No exact start date has been confirmed just yet but typically the show launches at the end of August.
